Dead of Darkness 2 System Requirements (PC Minimum)

What are the Dead of Darkness 2 minimum system requirements?

See the full fact list in everything we know. Checked on October 9, 2026 against the Steam store page and the GOG.com store page.

Why do Steam and GOG disagree on storage?

Steam lists 2 GB of available space while GOG lists 3 GB for the same minimum specs. The page does not say whether this is a typo, an installer overhead or a build difference. Until the final build is out, plan for the larger number. We will update this page the day the numbers are reconciled.

Are there recommended specs or a Steam Deck rating?

No recommended specification is published, and no Steam Deck verification status exists yet because the game is unreleased. The game supports full controller input including DualShock and DualSense, so a handheld PC should not be blocked by input, but that is an inference rather than a fact.

How do the requirements compare with the first game?

Part 2 raises the floor. The original asks for Windows 7/8/8.1/10 x64, a Pentium D 830, 2 GB RAM, a GeForce 7600 GT and 1 GB of storage. Part 2 asks for 4 GB RAM and a newer CPU. Compare in sequel vs original and see the platform list for console versions.
